Leona “Lee” C. McEntee, 75, of Apalachin, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, September 29, 2016. Lee was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Stella McEntee; son, Alan McEntee; brother, Rick McEntee. She is survived by Gerald Hickey; son, John McEntee; granddaughters, Allissia (Brad) and Cheyenne. Lee was a social worker with Broome County Department of Social Services for many years. She enjoyed music, sailing and spending time outdoors. A celebration of Lee’s life will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Apalachin Baptist Church, 4416 Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin, NY 13732 with Pastor Daniel Crane, officiating.
