John F. Woodburn, 59, of Owego, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016, at home. John was predeceased by his father, Vern D. Woodburn; sister, Mary Lou Woodburn. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Simmons; brother, Frank Woodburn and his fiance, Bethany Aleshire; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of John’s life will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with full military honors accorded by the VFW Post #1371 and Pastor G. Terry Steenburg officiating.
