Philip James Kwiatkowski, 54, of Owego died peacefully, January 3, 2017, at home with all of his family surrounding him listening to his favorite Billy Joel. Phil was predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Shirley Kwiatkowski; sister, Denise Kay Kwiatkowski; brother, John Kwiatkowski. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Robin Kwiatkowski; two daughters and sons-in-law, Danielle and Adam Cole, Johnna and Jesse Skellett; four grandchildren, Caleb and Emmy Cole, Jace and Jasper Skellett; Siblings, Dr. David (Kim) Kwiatkowski, Karen (Art) Rider, Anne-Marie Mott; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Phil graduated from OFA Class of 1980 and attended Cornell University and received his degree from Broome Community College. He worked in the agricultural industry for many years and was currently employed by Tracey Road Equipment in Kirkwood, NY. Phil served on the Owego Free Academy School Board for 9 years. He was a loving husband and Dziadzi (grandfather), an avid hunter and outdoorsman. From his infectious laugh and smile to his “whoa dragon” he will be missed by many. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
