Obituary of Dorothy R. Haley

Dorothy R. Haley, 98, of Candor, NY passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017. Mrs. Haley was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, David A. Haley; several brothers and sisters. She is surived by her children and their spouses, David A. and Bonnie M. Haley, Scituate, MA, Diane and David King, Candor, NY, Douglas A. and Beverly Haley, Riverside, RI; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Alicia Haley and Jeffrey Cote, David A. Jr. and Danielle Haley, Sarah Moshier and James Allen, Andrew Moshier, William and Melissa Collins, Gail and George Belokur, Beth and Clarence Brownlee, Sean Haley and his fiance, Ashley Kelly, Richard Haley, Adam Haley; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Haley was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy. She worked as an executive secretary for Paine Weber Jackson and Curtis Investment Banking Firm in Boston, MA and was a member of many clubs in the Barrington, RI area. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Funeral services and burial will be in South Weymouth, MA.
