Obituary of Annette H. Pierson-Lazar

Annette H. Pierson-Lazar, 95, of Owego went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 20, 2017. Annette was predeceased by her parents, James and Annette Haulenbeck; two husbands, Robert Pierson, Neil Lazar; son, Jan Pierson; brother, James Haulenbeck. Annette is survived by her son, David Pierson; daughter-in-law, Carol Pierson; five grandchildren, Jennifer Logan, Samuel Pierson, Sarah Arsenault, Andrew Pierson, Amy Karlgut; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Annette loved opera having performed in New York City and was instrumental in establishing Tri-Cities Opera. She touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at The First Presbyterian Union Church, Owego with the Rev. Lisa Heckman, officiating.
