Obituary of Jeanne M. Pedro

Jeanne M. Pedro, 89, of Owego passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 after a brief illness.  Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, John E. and Mary A. (Adams) Salata; husband of 60 years, Richard M. Pedro; brother, John J. Salata.  She is survived by her daughter, Debra A. Hackett; son, Richard JM Pedro; seven grandchildren, Jacquelyn M., Nicole L., Taylor A., and James B. Hackett, John M., Richard D., Christopher M. Pedro; sister-in-law, Darlene M. Salata; several nieces and nephews.  Jeanne retired from the Owego Apalachin School District after many years of service.  The family would like to extend a very special Thank You to the staff at Wilson Hospital South Tower 3, and Dr. Mandapali and his staff.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego, NY with the Rev. Anthony Amato, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.  Memorial contributions may be made in Jeanne M.
