Douglas J. Forsyth, Sr., 59, of Owego passed away on June 25, 2017 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Doug was predeceased by his son, Christopher; father, George; brother, Charles “Chuck” Forsyth; sister, Georgia Frantz. He is survived by his son, Douglas J. Forsyth, Jr.; daughter, Stacy Forsyth; mother, Mae Forsyth; brother, George (Emily) Forsyth, Jr.; sister, Shirley (Raymon) Jackson; three grandchildren, William Martinez, Gabriella Martinez, Angelina Albino; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with Pastor Bobby Harris, officiating. Burial will be in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
