Obituary of John H. Oltz

John H. “Jack” Oltz, Jr., 84,  of Willseyville, NY,  passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017.  Jack was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Bernice Oltz: brother, Richard Oltz.  He is survived by his five children, Michael Oltz, Robert (Zulay Siba) Oltz, Phillip (Susanne) Oltz, Joanne Marsh, Dianne (Jim) Koske; five grandchildren, Robert John Oltz, Jr., Mitchell Oltz, Christopher (Nikoya) Marsh, Jenalyn (James) Mihelcic, Sahra Price; four great grandchildren, Lucus and Jameson Marsh, Jayce Acevedo and Analia Mihelcic; sister, Audrey Hardesty; several nieces and nephews.  Jack owned and operated Valley View ESSO and was a rural letter carrier for 37 years.  He was a proud Mason and former fire commissioner for Candor.  Jack enjoyed his great life and was an avid woodworker, coin collector, N.Y. Yankees fan and most of all enjoyed helping others. In honoring Jack’s wishes, graveside services will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John H.
