Obituary of Bernard F. Godfrey

Bernard “Red” Godfrey, 77, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014. Predeceased by his parents, Errol and Alice Godfrey. He is survived by his companion of 36 years, Anne Sacco; children, Raymond and Doris Godfrey, Wayne and Mary Godfrey, Tina and Bob Keener, Terri. several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Neal, Sharon Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Janice Godfrey; several nieces and nephews. Red worked as a young man as a pin boy setter and later retired from Endicott Johnson after 40 years of service. He continued his love of bowling until his health started to fail. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery.
