Kyle Calvin Curkendall, 54, passed away peacefully at his home, full of love and surrounded by family on Saturday, May 24, 2014. He was born in Ithaca, NY on November 20, 1959. He is survived by his loving parents, Charles C. and Annabelle Curkendall, Elmira Heights, NY; wife, Rebecca V. Curkendall, Candor; devoted father to, Kristy (Sanel) Miljkovic, TN, Keri (Aaron) Curkendall-Guptill, GA, Katy Curkendall, GA, Calvin Curkendall, Candor, Asia Curkendall, Candor; stepson, David Cynoske, NC; grandfather to, Rylee, Rhyan, Reagan, Skyler and baby Jack Kyle; former wife, Christine Curkendall; beloved brother to, Mick Curkendall, Horseheads, Rick Curkendall, Elmira Heights, Cassie (Dave) Dickinson, Elmira, Colleen (John) Hughes, Horseheads, Kevin (Teresa) Curkendall, Horseheads; special uncle to many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly; special aunts and uncles, Bernard and Ruth Blinn, Pete Curkendall, Carolyn Shisler, Marlene and Pete Velletri; special mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hope and Richard VanScoy; brothers-in-law, Bill (Raysheall) VanScoy, Jon VanScoy, Kwasi (Rachel) VanScoy, Yaw VanScoy; sisters-in-law, Heather (Ross) Gullo, Heidi (Jay) Butt, Phoebe (Scott) Geissler. A very special Thank You to the Blinn Family of Candor, NY, to include Denice Peckins, Heather Stevens Greeno and Bernard J. Blinn. Also, Friends of mention, the Milks Family, of Candor, to include, Joann and Ken Milks, Amber Miller and Ashley Toth; our deepest gratitude for your love and support. Kyle grew up on the Blinn Farm in Candor, NY, and valued his family, especially his children, above all else. He loved to travel and touched the lives of everyone who crossed his path. Services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY. The family will receive friends Thursday Evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to Tioga State Bank, P.O.
