Obituary of Luella C. Miller

Luella C. Miller, 86, formerly of Owego passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Ideal Senior Living Center in Endicott. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Jessie Morar; and her brother, Sylvester Morar. Luella is survived by her children, Samuel Miller of Endicott, and Rebecca (David) Baum of Apalachin; sister, Georgia Iddings of Binghamton; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Luella was a devout Russian Orthodox Christian who volunteered her time to the Open Door Mission in Owego, the Stray Haven Animal Shelter, and the Tioga County Cancer Society. She was a gifted artist who loved to paint and was a graphic artist for companies such as IBM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with V. Rev. Alexey Karlgut and Rev. Ilya Gotlinsky officiating. A private burial will be held in Vestal Memorial Park at a later date. Family invites friends to call from 4 to 5:45 prior to the services.
