Obituary of Edward Owens
Edward W. Owens, 72, of Waverly passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Edward J. and Mildred A. Owens; son, William Owens. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Brian Mosher; three grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Owens-Tyson, Patricia Owens; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ed was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He volunteered for Meals-on-Wheels and was a member of the VFW Post #1371. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018, at 3:00 PM with military honors accorded by the VFW Post #1371 and the U.S. Army, at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY.
