Rosemary T. Holobosky, 81, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Rosemary was born in Endicott, NY to the late Harold and Ann Boland. Along with her parents, Rosemary was predeceased by her brother, James Boland; two sisters, Kathleen Kersat, Sharon Lozzi. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Nicholas Holobosky; four children, Nicholas Holobosky, Catherine Holobosky and Shonni Hinrichsen, Tracie Holobosky, Michael Holobosky; four grandchildren, Kelsey (Joshua) Harmon, Nicholas (Jennifer) Hrehor, Andrew Hrehor, Sarah Hrehor; three great-grandchildren, John Michael Hrehor, Joseph Robert Hrehor, Hoyt Walter Harmon; sister, Judy DeSantis; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosemary was a kind, loving and generous person. Her husband, family and friends meant the world to her as well as the N.Y. Yankees and Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends for over 40 years. Rosemary met once a month with her OFA Class of 1956. She loved to swim, watch the Yankees and Cowboys. The family sends a special thank you to the Tioga Center Emergency Squad. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego, NY. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday Evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. A Life Celebrations Home®.
