Obituary of Alfred F. Budney
Alfred F. Budney, 95, of Newark Valley, passed away Friday May 17, 2019 at Absolut Care. Born November 25, 1923 to the late William and Pauline Budney. He is survived by his children Shelia Smacher; Michelle (OJ) Avery; his grandchildren Jessica Avery, Jennifer (Ceasar) Sandoval, Timothy DeHaas, Shaun (Lynn) Avery, Amber (Tom) Adams, 11 great grandchildren, and a sister, Dolores. Al was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corps. Special thank you to Michelle and John of Tioga County Adult Services for their loving care over the past 3 years. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11 am from the Estey, Munroe, and Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego. Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 am until 10:45 . Condolences may be made to Alfred family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
