Obituary of Alice M. Gower

Alice M. Gower, went to join her husband, Rodney, in Heaven on September 14, 2014. Alice is survived by her family, Mary Jane and Dean A. Morgan, Lynn Durkan, Tracy and John Martine; four special grandchildren, Ian and Tracy K. Durkan, Anthony and Alison Martine; sister, Dorothy Kramnicz; brother and sister-in-law, John and Kathy Cederborg; sister-in-law, Jane Messersmith; several nieces and nephews. Through the years Alice worked as a nurse’s aide at Ideal Hospital, she was a real estate agent for C.R. Realty of Endicott and retired as a receptionist for Drs. Solomon & Williams. Mom loved the sunshine and living in the country. Music was the true joy of her life, especially Country and Gospel. She always enjoyed playing an Old Irish Jig on her violin. A very special Thank You is given to Dr. Keith A. Nichols and the wonderful staff of Riverview Manor for the excellent care that mom received during her time spent there. At mom’s request there will be no funeral services. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Alice M.
