I had Mr. Tulsey for history at CCHS and he was a fantastic teacher. He passionately shared his insight and knowledge. He ignited in me a lifelong interest in history. When I became a teacher I remembered Mr. Tulsey injecting his wit into every lesson. That's something I tried to do. I send sincere sympathy to the family of this most remarkable man. Rest in eternal peace, Mr. Tulsey.

I am so sorry to hear of "Mr. Tulsey's" passing. He was my absolute favorite teacher at CCHS in the late 1960s. He made history come alive in his own very entertaining way. He was a special guy and my heart goes out to his family for their loss.

Mr Tulsey taught American history to our CCHS Class of 72. He was strict but knew how to get a laugh as well. Everyone respected him. He also told stories about his time in the service, which were more interesting than history lessons!.

The world has lost a beacon of laughter and wisdom in Dick, who brought joy to all with his dynamic spirit. His wittiness sprinkled cheer around every event, exemplified when he humorously managed track meets to finish extravagantly early. Truly unparalleled in his unique charm and affability, Dick will be profoundly missed. Heartfelt condolences to Sharon, Mike, Suzanne from all who were touched by his vivacious spirit.

Mr Tulsey was such a wonderful teacher and all around person, he will be greatly missed. He not only taught my sister and myself, but both of my daughters as well. Mr Tulsey always treated his students with respect and I admired him for that. God Bless his wife, children and grandchildren, he will be missed by so many people's lives he touched.

It's been over 50 years, but I still have many good memories of Mr. Tulsey from the classroom and halls of Catholic Central. I'm sure it's fair to say that he made a positive difference for thousands of students and athletes lives over his career. Rest in Peace and my sincere condolences to his family and his many friends.

Our condolences to Mrs Tulsey and family. So sad to hear about his passing. He was such a good man, and a great coach. We played for him at Catholic Central many years ago. Have such fond memories of those times. In fact, several of us have been sharing stories after hearing about his passing.
We had so much fun with him, and totally respected him! He made us all better people.
He will be missed, but never forgotten. A classic.

Sharon and family, as you know Dick could light up a room with his laugh, he could make everyone around him feel like they knew him forever as he 'worked' the room, and like no one else, he could light up a referee with his passionate feedback.
Dick was one of a kind and he will be missed by many but welcomed to the first tee in heaven by many great friends. We are so sorry to hear about his passing and we will be keeping the entire family in our thoughts and prayers.

Coach Tulsey, inspired us as a team, and inspired us individually. He showed us how to be a gentleman and how to compete. Mr Tulsey put his heart into coaching so that we put our heart into playing. He was a kind man with high moral standards. He will be missed and honored by all who knew him. Sincere condolences to Sharon and the entire Tulsey family

Mrs. Tulsey, Mike (Nicole), Suzanne,
Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Your husband/dad was a truly great man and I hold many memories of him fondly in my heart.
He was a strong man and was truly someone who helped shape me as a person. He invested in many people and will be missed by many.
The world lost one of the good one's this week, but all of our lives are a little better for knowing your husband/dad.
